The classes all have a different focus each term.

Tasters Minis 4 & 5 years

Saturday's 9.30am - 10.15am  (term fee applies - register online)

Parent Participation Optional 

This 45 minute class is for 4.5 year olds who are ready for independant classes at gymnastics. The class begins with a warm up activity or game and a basic gymnastics stretch routine. Children will then complete gymnastics circuits with activities developing key gymnastics body shapes and fundamental movement patterns. Social development is just as important as children learn to listen to directions, follow simple instructions, take turns and interact with their peers. The children are exposed to a variety of gymnastics stations developing vision, landings & spring, balance, rotation, swing, manipulative play, spatial awareness, and imaginative play. The class ends with a warm down game or gymnastics activity.

GymTasters

This class offers gymnasts their first taste of gymnastics. The class begins with a gymnastics game and basic stretch. Gymnasts then break into small groups and rotate around five apparatus stations such as vault, bar, beam, floor, rings, pbars and/or trampoline. The class ends with a gymnastics-based game or activity. This class is focused on developing key fundamental movement patterns (swing, spring, locomotion, rotation, landings, statics and manipulative skills) that can be transferred to any sport.

Saturday 10am - 11am (year 1-2 Boys and Girls)

GymTasters Plus 

This class offers gymnasts their first taste of gymnastics. The class begins with a gymnastics game and basic stretch. Gymnasts then break into small groups and rotate around five apparatus stations such as vault, bar, beam, floor, rings, pbars and/or trampoline. The class ends with a gymnastics-based game or activity. This class is focused on developing key fundamental movement patterns (swing, spring, locomotion, rotation, landings, statics and manipulative skills) that can be transferred to any sport.

Tuesday 4:15-5:15pm (Year 2 - 4 Girls)

Saturday 10.15am - 11.15am (Year 3-4)

GymTryers

This class is for girls who wish to further develop their skills in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Gymnasts will learn skills on the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor. Strength and flexibility will also be incorporated into the session to allow gymnasts to progress to more advanced skills.

You must have done at least a year in a tasters class to enrol in this class unless otherwise invited

GymTrixters

This class is for year 6-8 girls who are starting out in gymnasts or who wish to further develop their skills in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Gymnasts will learn skills on the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor. Strength and flexibility will also be incorporated into the session to allow gymnasts to progress to more advanced skills. This class also offers the girls a chance to set personal goals of skills that they would like to achieve.

Advanced Level Recreation

Recreation Competition Team

This is an invitation only class for gymnasts who would like to train regional competitions. Gymnasts learn skills and routines to compete at approximately four Gym For All events throughout the year. Gymnasts will perfect and develop their skills on WAG or MAG apparatus. Strength and flexibility will be incorporated into the session to allow gymnasts to progress onto more advanced skill learning.

GymTotals Boys Classes

This class is for boys who wish to further develop their skills in Gymnastics. Gymnasts will learn skills on the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor. Strength and flexibility will also be incorporated into the session to allow gymnasts to progress to more advanced skills. There will also be elements of Parkour incorporated into the lessons.
